Interoperability
Per the demand from our clients, and what's being promoted by the federal government, Cal-Med offers interoperability solutions to allow entities to share critical clinical data electronically, while maintaining HIPPA standards. The ability for our provider clients to connect and share data with various hospitals and labs, back and forth, is essential to the healthcare systems becoming automated, efficient, and fully electronic.
Cal-Med is a certified partner of Quest Diagnostics, a leading lab entity, to allow for a direct connect to electronically submit lab orders, and electronically receive lab results, directly from Cal-Med's practice expert EMR. Further eliminating this paper work makes the patient visit that much more efficient, and allows for a more organized practice.
